Photography is the slow practice. It asks that I wait, that I look twice, that I carry the camera somewhere I had not planned to go.

I live and work in Luxembourg. The photographs on this site are made mostly on foot, in the Moselle valley and the small cities of the Grand Duchy, and sometimes farther afield. I am drawn to ordinary light on ordinary buildings, to rivers at dawn, to the quiet hours when a place belongs to itself.

This site is deliberately small. There is no archive here, only what I consider worth showing. If a photograph catches you and you'd like a print, write to me — I'd be glad to hear about it.
